FaceUp was founded in 2017 by Jan, David, and Pavel, inspired by their own experiences with bullying and the reality that speaking up often doesn’t feel safe.
Their solution began with schools: a secure, anonymous reporting platform with clear processes that let educators take action.
Within a week, over 100 schools signed up, and thousands of students spoke up. In some cases, early reports even prevented serious harm.
By 2020, workplaces faced the same challenges and need for trusted, structured reporting. FaceUp expanded beyond schools to support compliance, HR, and ethics teams.
Today, FaceUp works with 3,600+ organizations across 70+ countries, helping them capture high-quality reports, spot issues early, and manage ethical, regulatory, and operational risk.

Our values define how FaceUp is built and how it performs when organizations are under pressure, scrutiny, or regulatory obligation.
Reporting should be clear and straightforward. FaceUp is intuitive, easy to navigate, and easy to act on, so teams can focus on solving problems, not managing complexity.
Speaking up requires protection. FaceUp is built with strong security controls and data safeguards to keep reports confidential and meet regulatory expectations.
Trust comes from consistency and follow-through. FaceUp ensures reporting and investigations are handled predictably, transparently, and in ways organizations can rely on.
Handling reports is a serious responsibility. We provide practical guidance, clear processes, and responsive support to help teams act confidently and correctly.
Strong reporting systems make organizations safer, fairer, and more accountable. FaceUp helps people speak up, supporting ethical behavior and responsible governance wherever it’s needed.
