According to the Spanish whistleblowing law, all companies with more than 50 employees are obliged to establish internal reporting channels. Legal entities with at least 250 employees must implement the required measures till the middle of June 2023 and organizations with less than 250 employees until 1 December 2023.

The primary method for whistleblowing reporting should be the internal reporting channel. All obligated companies must maintain a trustworthy, independent, and effective system for receiving and addressing whistleblower reports.
Companies can face fines up to EUR 1,000,000 for serious offenses.
