According the Slovenia whistleblowing law all companies with 50 or more employees must establish internal reporting channels. Private companies with 250 or more employees must establish these channels by 23 May 2023 and all other legal entities by 17 December 2023.

The primary method for whistleblowing reporting should be the internal reporting channel. All obligated companies must maintain a trustworthy, independent, and effective system for receiving and addressing whistleblower reports that is reliable for both employees and external stakeholders.
Companies can face fines ranging from EUR 5,000 to EUR 60,000 for serious offenses, depending on their size.
