1. How do you ensure anonymity and data security?
Data security is our priority - we do everything in our power to keep your data secure. We do not store IP addresses, we don’t use any analytics tools, and we remove as much metadata as possible which could lead to users being identified. No third parties have access to your data, which is all safely stored on Amazon Web Services in the EU.
You can choose end-to-end encryption and two-factor authentication. We also carry out regular penetration tests.
FaceUp is ISO 27001 certified (information security management system which protects our customers’ data against loss, misuse and trust violation) and GDPR compliant.
Whistleblowers are guaranteed complete anonymity and can remain so for as long as they choose.
